An app creator, decision scientist, and founder of Jerry Analytics.
My journey has been dynamic. It began with drama studies at the University of Pretoria, moved through econometrics, and eventually found its stride in agricultural economics. Along the way, I’ve explored sustainable sugarcane farming, assessed the economic impact of water use, and developed models across sectors, including banking, public infrastructure, and sales.
I’ve built tools to support impact studies, feasibility assessments, and cost-benefit analyses that include dashboards designed to deliver clear answers to complex questions. A pivotal moment for me was a model created for the Development Bank of South Africa, which could estimate job creation potential in minutes. It sparked my commitment to building tools that make analysis faster, more accessible, and user-friendly.
That same spirit of curiosity led to the creation of Jerry Analytics, where data is transformed into clear, human-first insight. At the heart of the brand is Jerry, “the quiet observer”, a watchful, inquisitive cat who reminds us to examine every angle and make every insight count.
I work with tools like Power BI, Python, and SQL, and using Streamlit and AWS to build cloud-deployed dashboards and mobile alerts, including integrations with platforms like Telegram. My focus is always on making complex work feel simple, helping business move forward with confidence and ease.
